Born in Dublin in 1982, Jennifer Muldowney went to college in Dublin City University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree in 2004. She furthered her education in 2010 with a Wedding Planning Certificate and a PRII accredited Public Relations post graduate diploma and Event Management post graduate diploma and again in 2012 with a Digital Communications diploma with Social Media. She splits her time mostly between the offices in NYC and Dublin and loves it. Both cities are home!
Jennifer has worked in events with many prestigious global brands throughout her Events career including Jameson, Benefit, Tourism Ireland, Siemens and Clinique.
Cycling to and from work where possible is a part of her contribution towards a better environment and also lead her to take part in a charitable fundraiser for Temple Street in 2010 where an event raised 2,000euro for the children.
Charity has and always will be close to her heart and she also ran the Miami Marathon in 2007, raised great awareness and 12,000 dollars for an AIDS program in LA with the help of the National Aids Marathon Training program. She also assisted Dublin charity, The Smile Project with marketing and fundraising.
She has experienced loss, just as much as any other but it was this, coupled with her skills and experience that prompted her to create Farewell Funeral Planners. She has been in the Funeral Industry for 2 years and is a published author on the subject. Her first book - SAY FAREWELL, YOUR WAY is in Irish stores and on Amazon and Barnes & Noble's online bookstores.
Regularly featuring in the Irish Times, Irish Independent, The Irish Sun, The Metro Herald Dublin, About Magazines (Knocklyon, Rathfarnham, Dundrum, Blackrock, Dun laoghaire) and Senior Times magazine and interviewed on RTE radio, LMFM, CRM, Today FM, Newstalk, Kerry Radio, Highland Radion and Dublin South FM. Jennifer is also a regular feature writer and contributor to the Funeral Times Magazine and Funerals Today Magazine in the States.
